1. Verify cooling performance, temperature drop and determine if adjustments are necessary.

2. Clean outdoor condenser coil and remove debris from unit.

3. Inspect condenser fan motor operation, and lubricate as necessary.

5. Test operation and condition of compressor contactor.
   Belts and Pulleys inspected and adjusted as required.
   Loose belts and worn pulleys decrease air flow, increase operating costs and shorten the compressor’s life. Belts crack and break with age.
6. Inspect and tighten electrical connections.
   Relays and Contactors inspected.
   Worn contacts and loose wire connections can lead to a motor or compressor failure.
   Unit Wiring inspected and loose connections tightened.
   Loose connections can lead to a motor or compressor failure.
7. Inspect start/run capacitors and relays.
   Capacitors tested.
   Bad capacitors can lead to compressor and motor failure.
8. Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
   Refrigerant leaks can indicate bigger problems.
   Additional refrigerant fluids should never need to be added to your system. It can indicate a much larger problem with the system.
9. Inspect indoor evaporator coil, if accessible.
   Inspection of indoor coil.
   Some home do not have easy access to the indoor coil, but an inspection can show any potential problems.
10. Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow.
    Condensate Drain checked to assure it is open.
    Algae can plug a condensate drain which can cause expensive water damage.
11. Inspect blower assembly operation, lubricate and adjust as necessary.
    Blower Wheels inspected.
    Dirty blower wheels reduce air flow, causing longer operating time and increased cost. This problem can lead to lost comfort and compressor failure.
12. Evaluate condition of air filters and other indoor air quality accessories.
    Air Filter and other Indoor Air Quality Accessories evaluated.
    A restricted air filter can cause your air conditioning unit to waste energy and shorten the compressor’s life.
13. Safety test all controls for proper operation.
    Motors and Bearings lubricated.
    Improperly lubricated rotating equipment will eventually fail.
    Controls and Safeties will be inspected and tested.
    Controls and safeties that do not function properly can increase operation cost and cause other components to fail.
14. Calibrate thermostat and confirm proper operation.
    Thermostat checked and calibrated as required.
    Improperly calibrated thermostats allow the unit to run longer than necessary. Every degree your air conditioning operates below 78 degrees can add 5 to 8% to the cost of cooling.
15. Evaluate overall efficiency of system and inform customer of equipment condition.
    Unit Disconnect inspected.
